Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings {A Lazy Mom Recipe}
My dear friend Charlotte shared with me a fantastic Lazy Mom Recipe that I’ve been wanting to pass along to you. Plus, it’s a crock pot recipe!
I love crock pot recipes because, uh, their LAZY. And that’s the kind of cooking I do best. Lazy cooking.
So here we go!
Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings
4 to 5 chicken breasts (boneless)
2 family size Campbell Cream of Chicken Soup
onion – diced fine (or use this Lazy Mom onion tip)
2 tablespoons butter
2 10 oz tube biscuits
Put first four ingredients in crock pot on high for 5 hours. 30 minutes before eating, tear biscuits up into small pieces and place on top and cover for last 30 minutes of cooking.
You could also add in a bag of frozen mixed veggies, or other veggies you may like in it.
It’s that easy!
Or should I say, lazy!
