It’s Merry Christmas Time {And a Giveaway!}
Y’all.
I just HAVE to share with you my cousin’s wife’s Christmas song that came out today! It is seriously the most original Christmas song I’ve heard in a LONG time.
No joke, I was just thinking to myself the other day, when was the last time I heard an awesome new original Christmas song? And you know what my self said to me? Not since Mariah Carey’s Christmas CD came out in the 90’s.
Sad, but true.
Most CD’s put out by today’s artists are just remakes of old Christmas songs with no original songs on the disc or originality of the old songs. That’s why when I heard Miranda Dodson’s cover song on her Christmas EP I flipped out! Seriously, y’all. Not only does it immediately put you in the Christmas spirit, it also makes you want to dance like no one’s watching! *wink*
“It’s Merry Christmas Time” sounds like an old classic Christmas song with it’s bit of big band flair, but don’t be fooled, it’s totally a Miranda Dodson original! And Miranda’s voice has such a great classy jazz sound to it that immediately draws you in.
