Ready To Hit The Road Summer Travel Tips From State Farm {And Giveaway!}
When I say we are ready to hit the road, I mean it!
Tomorrow we hit the road in our RV and head to Kids Camp. This is Lazy Dad’s last year directing our great state-wide camp for kids. He’s done a wonderful job of directing for ten years, so he totally deserves a vacation, right?
Well he’s in luck! Immediately following Kids Camp, we officially hit the road again for our big RV trip out west! I can’t believe it’s already upon us!! We’ll be sharing what it’s REALLY like for a family of five who’s never been on such a big trip to travel cross-country and live out of an RV for a month. (Lord help us!)
Taking such a huge trip has definitely had me a bit worried about road safety. I’m a mom; I worry about these things! To put my mind at ease, one of the FIRST things we packed in the RV was our State Farm roadside safety kit. No lie. It is literally the first thing listed on our packing list. We also purchased road flares and several more reflective triangles. I’ve heard some pretty scary stories about vehicles and RV’s being broken down on the side of the road, so I wanted to make sure we were prepared!
